Mini Santa Hat Cheesecake Recipe

It's giving festive! These delish Santa hat cheesecakes are the ultimate crowd pleaser for your upcoming Christmas party gf! 



  • 125 g cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 12 fresh strawberries
  • 150 ml cream
  • 2 tsp icing sugar
  • 6 mini Oreo biscuits


  • Preheat the oven to 180˚C and line a mini muffin tin with cupcake cases
  • Using an electric beater,  beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice until smooth and creamy, then add the egg and beat to combine 
  • Break each Oreo in half and scrape the cream filling away from the lower Oreo. Place one side of an Oreo into the base of each muffin cup in the tray
  • Place some cream cheese mixture into each muffin cup, spooning it over each Oreo
  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until slightly risen and just beginning to crack on the surface
  • Remove and allow to cool completely on a wire rack while you make the toppings
  • Whip the cream and icing sugar together until thick and fluffy
  • Cut off the tops of each strawberry to create a Santa hat shape 
  • Make sure the cakes have cooled completely, then ut the whipped cream mixture into a piping bag and pipe a generous blob onto each 
  • Place a strawberry on each and push down so that the cream becomes the bottom of the santa hat
  • Top each with a small dab of cream for a pom pom effect, then dust with icing sugar just before serving. Enjoy!
